Terms of Use
Last updated: 24 September 2026
1. Who runs this site
The site moldovanuts.org is run by the Public Association "Walnut Growers Association of the Republic of Moldova" (Asociația Obștească „Asociația Nucicultorilor din Republica Moldova"), a non-commercial legal entity established and operating under the law of the Republic of Moldova, with its registered office at 79A Mateevici str., Stăuceni, Chișinău municipality, MD-4839, Republic of Moldova, fiscal code 1022620009109, legally represented by its executive director Andrei Lozan.
Below we refer to the association as "we", and to you, as a visitor or member, as "you".
2. Accepting these terms
By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. For the forms that can be submitted without signing in — the contact message and the membership application — accepting these terms and the GDPR Policy is ticked explicitly before submission.
3. What the site offers
The site presents the association's work, the walnut sector of the Republic of Moldova and the resources we make available to growers: information on varieties, kernel and processed products, suppliers and solutions, training material, the legal framework, events and news.
The information published is informative in nature. It is not agronomic, legal, tax or financial advice for a particular case and does not replace checking the official source — in particular for legislation, which changes, and for plant protection products, whose authorisation status must be checked in the official register before every treatment.
4. The members' area
Part of the site is reserved for members of the association and opens after signing in. The account is personal: you are responsible for keeping your password safe and for the activity carried out through your account, and you tell us as soon as you suspect somebody else has used it.
The administrator of a member company may edit the company's particulars, choose which of them appear on its public page, upload pictures and designate contact persons. Responsibility for the accuracy of those particulars rests with the company.
We may suspend or close an account used in breach of these terms, of the law, or to the detriment of other users. You can delete your own account from your profile.
5. Rights in the content
The texts, photographs, training material, graphics and structure of the site belong to the association or are used by us under a right of use. You may read, print and quote them, indicating the source and the address of the page. Republishing in full, commercial use or systematic extraction of the content require our written agreement.
Material signed by third-party authors or taken from external sources remains theirs and is marked as such.
6. What you send us
For the content you send us — messages, membership applications, documents, pictures of your company — you are responsible: you warrant to us that you have the right to send it and that it infringes nobody else's rights. We may refuse or withdraw from the site material that breaches the law, harms a third party or bears no relation to the association's work.
7. The site's forms
The contact form and the membership application send us the data you fill in, together with the IP address and the browser type they were sent from. We use them to answer you and, in the case of an application, to examine it. The details are in the GDPR Policy.
Sending a membership application does not, by itself, create membership: that is acquired under the association's statute, after the application has been examined.
8. Links to other sites
The site carries links to pages that are not ours — public institutions, partners, specialist publications, video channels. We do not control their content and are not answerable for it; using those sites is subject to the conditions their owners set.
9. Availability and liability
We make reasonable efforts to keep the site available and the information accurate and current, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation: maintenance, technical incidents and causes beyond our control may interrupt access. We are not liable for damage arising from the use of, or the inability to use, the site, within the limits the law allows.
10. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms when the services offered or the legal requirements change. The applicable version is the one published on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Moldova. Any disagreement we settle amicably; where that is not possible, the courts of the Republic of Moldova have jurisdiction.
12. Contact
For any question about these terms write to us at asociatianucicultorilor@gmail.com, through the contact form, or at our office at 79A Mateevici str., Stăuceni, Chișinău municipality, MD-4839.
